IELTS Examinations

IELTS is also known as the International English Language Testing System, is an examination course that is assessed by The British Council, IELTS Australia and Cambridge ESOL. The main purpose of this course is to test your ability in all the English language areas including:

  • Reading
  • Speaking
  • Writing
  • Listening

The IELTS examination will benefit you when you are planning on applying for a place at one of the United Kingdoms universities as it will provide proof that you have all the right English language skills that maybe needed during your university course.

For many years we have provided two IELTS course such as the introduction to IELTS course and IELTS examination preparation course. Students that are more likely to benefit from this course are those students who are looking to university and need a recognisable qualification in International English Language.

To be able to begin the introduction to IELTS course, you will need to the intermediate B1 level of English on the Council of Europe’s Common European Framework for modern languages. You will normally start the course on any Monday of the academic year and you will be recommended to study for up to 12 weeks.

To be able to start the IELTS examination preparation courses, you will need to have an upper-intermediate B2 level of English on the on the Council of Europe’s Common European Framework for modern languages. You will again be able to start this course on any Monday of the Academic year and are recommended to study for approximately 12 weeks.

This examination is divided into four sections and each student will need to practice each section of the exam, take mock exams and complete any examination tasks. The four sections include:

  • Writing
  • Reading
  • Speaking
  • Listening

For a 12 week course of the IELTS examination preparation or the Introduction to IELTS it would cost from as little as £1,100. So if you are looking to study in one of the UK’s universities but don’t have the necessary skills then this course will be perfect for you.
